Fatboy Gear all started with the Fatboys Softball Club in 2000. Creator Josh Grubbs was getting so many compliments from people all over who wanted to buy clothes that were like his softball team uniforms. So, he started making them for a few personal friends. But Fatboy Gear was so popular on a small scale locally in Bakersfield, California that Josh had the idea to expand the Fatboy label into a clothing line.
